We have all heard the national news but Real Estate like the weather is very local. In our area there is stability that doesn't exist in some other areas of the country and therefore homes are still being bought and sold. Interest rates are still currently down and mortgages can be obtained with proper credit. The median final single family home sale prices in northern Westchester have dropped by 5% for the first time though over 3rd quarter 2007 but but this may also be due to fewer number of properties being sold. The median condo prices though have remained the same since last year. Right now there are some very well priced homes and motivated sellers so don't wait any longer this is actually a great time to buy your new home, condo or co-op.

In addition to the 84 single family homes sold in northern Westchester County during the month of November, there were 27 Condos, 7 Co-ops, and 3 Muli-ifamily homes sold during November 2008!!!
