While interest rates are still historically low there has been a slight increase in the past week with the tentatively optomistic economic news. Sellers are motivated to negotiate before the winter begins, now is the perfect time to buy that dream home.

The number of homes sold in 2011 is higher than in 2010 and though the Median and Mean home sales prices are averaging slightly lower than 2010 when there was a tax credit causing a flurry of activity last year.  The 2011 Median and Mean home sale prices are higher than 2009.  The list below of northern Westchester County single family homes sold during November 2011 is the proof that homes continue to sell in our area.

In addition to the 104 single family homes sold in northern Westchester County during the month of November  2011, there were 21 Condos, 6 Co-ops, and 3 Multi-family homes sold November 2011!
