2006 Westchester Property Sales Report
First on 1/25/2007 we received the report from the National Association of Realtors that even though the number of sales transaction nationwide was down, the Median Sales Prices nationwide went up 1.2% in 2006 over 2005.
Today, the Westchester County Board of Realtors posted its final sales figures for 2006. As expected the number of sales transactions was down in 2006 over 2005 BUT the final Median Sales Price for Single Family homes in 2006 was up .7% over 2005 and the Mean Final Sales Price for Single Family homes was up 3.9% for 2006 over 2005.
